When you made a non-refundable reservation before the 16th of March 2020 and it is not possible to travel from your country, we offer you the opportunity to change your reservation into a new arrival before the 31st of December. Please contact our reservations department:

We would like to tell you how our breakfast / dinner in the hotels is arranged due to Covid-19 (update June 18). Below the adjustments per hotel.

Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Leiden Centre:
A limited number of guests can be seated at the same time in our restaurant, reservations must be made in advance for the breakfast buffet and dinner. You can indicate a time during check-in.

From Monday till Friday breakfast will be between 7.00AM – 10.30AM. This is dived into three time slots. On Saturday and Sunday this will be between 7.00AM-11.45AM. This is dived into four time slots. From Monday till Saturday our restaurant is open for dinner between 6PM- 21.30PM. At the entrance of the restaurant and bar you will find a table where you can desinfect your hands. Please wait untill a member of staff will guide you to your table.

We will only place members of the same household at the same table. Guests who are from different households but share a room, will be placed at the same table with a maximum of two persons. Only this way we can guarantee a distance of 1.5 meter between the guests and tables.

Ibis Leiden Centre:
Our “temporary” breakfast has been prepared with the utmost care for you. Hygiene and freshness are our top priority. The coffee and tea can be consumed in bamboo cups. This is also possible with a lid for the take away. The cutlery consists of a wooden knife, fork and spoon packed in a bag with napkin. Our buffet consists of pre-packaged items, including fresh meats and cheese. Freshly baked petit pains and our delicious croissants / chocolate croissant are wrapped in window paper. Furthermore, the buffet includes Orange juice, mineral water, fresh fruit and you can combine both fruit yoghurt and natural yoghurt with muesli. Of course, a freshly boiled egg is not missing from the buffet. In addition, we ask you to clean your hands before entering the room.

By car from Amsterdam/ Schiphol (A4/A44):

  1. Depart in a north-westerly direction on the Departure passage to Ceintuurbaan Noord 270 m.
  2. Turn left at Ceintuurbaan Noord 6 m.
  3. Turn right at Ceintuurbaan Noord 350 m.
  4. Slight right turn towards Ceintuurbaan Noord 17 m.
  5. Go straight ahead on Ceintuurbaan Noord 350 m.
  6. Insert on the A4 via the driveway towards The Hague/Rotterdam 10.4 m.
  7. Take the exit junction Burgerveen on A44 towards The Hague-Centrum/Leiden-West/ Sassenheim 1.7 m.
  8. Slight right turn A44 10.6m.
  9. Take exit 6-Voorhout towards Noordwijk/Oegstgeest Noord 270 m.
  10. Add 35 m on Rijksstraatweg.
  11. Turn right at Leidsevaart/ N444, continue on the N444, go straight on about 2 roundabouts 4.5 m.
  12. Continue to Van de Mortelstraat 750 m.
  13. Take the roundabout the 2nd exit to from Panhuysstraat 500 m.
  14. Take the roundabout 2nd exit to Quarles 97 m.
  15. Continue road to Quarles from 550m Ufford Street.
  16. Continue road to Parallel Boulevard 400 m.
  17. Turn right at Lage Wurft 110 m.
  18. Turn left at King Wilhelmina Boulevard 42 m.

You will find the destination on the left.

By public transport from Amsterdam:

  1. Schiphol-Amsterdam Station – Here you take the train to Leiden Central. 20 min
  2. Leiden Central- Take bus 20 towards Noordwijk. ± 30 min.
  3. Disembark at the Parallel Boulevard stop in Noordwijk.
  4. Walk through the Noordzeestraat and you will see the hotel on your right.

By public transport from The Hague:

  1. The Hague Central Station – Here you take the train to Leiden Central. 20 min
  2. Leiden Central- Take bus 20 towards Noordwijk. ± 30 min.
  3. Disembark at the Parallel Boulevard stop in Noordwijk.
  4. Walk through the Noordzeestraat and you will see the hotel on your right.

By car from Amsterdam/ Schiphol (A4/A44):

You follow the A4 in the direction of “The Hague”. After Schiphol, choose the A44 towards “The Hague Centre/Leiden West”. Take from this highway exit Leiden/Katwijk. Turn left at the end of the exit and follow the signs “Center” and/or “Station”. At the end of the road, continue under the track and then turn into the tunnel at the traffic lights. At the end of the tunnel right at the traffic lights turn right and then directly to the right. You are now at the back of the hotel. Ask at the reception for a parking ticket.

By car from The Hague/Wassenaar (A44):

Follow the A44 in the direction of Wassenaar / Amsterdam and take the exit Leiden. At the end of the exit, turn right and follow the signs “Centrum” and / or “Station”. At the end of the road, continue under the track and then turn into the tunnel at the traffic lights. At the end of the tunnel right at the traffic lights turn right and then directly to the right. You are now at the back of the hotel. Ask at the reception for a parking ticket.

By car from Rotterdam/Utrecht (A12/A4):

Follow the A4 in the direction of Amsterdam until the exit Leiden – Noord / Leiderdorp (exit 6). End exit to the left. Then follow the signs for Leiden Central Station. On the schipholweg you turn left at the 1st traffic lights (before the tunnel) (Parmentierweg) and immediately right again. You are now at the back of the hotel. Ask at the reception for a parking ticket.

By public transport:

Trains arrive in Leiden 4 times an hour from Amsterdam, Schiphol and The Hague. All buses that run into Leiden also stop at the NS station. From the main entrance you will see our hotel diagonally left on the other side of the road  ( (100 meters).

From Utrecht:

Take the A12 towards The Hague. Take exit 7 Zoetermeer / Pijnacker. At the traffic lights, turn right onto Oostweg. Follow the Oostweg until the roundabout. Take the roundabout for 3 quarters onto the Australweg. From the Australweg go into the tunnel that overflows into the Europaweg. Once out of the tunnel follow the signs “The Hague A12 / Other Neighborhoods”. At the second traffic lights in the direction of “Wijk 12 + 13”, turn left onto Van Leeuwenhoeklaan, there you immediately turn right into Boerhaavelaan. You will find the hotel on your left at the end of Boerhaavelaan.

From The Hague / Rotterdam / Amsterdam:

Take the A12 towards Utrecht. Take the exit 6 Zoetermeer Center. At the traffic lights, turn left onto the Afrikaweg. At the 2nd set of traffic lights, turn right into Van Leeuwenhoek and immediately turn right into Boerhaavelaan. You will find the hotel on your left at the end of Boerhaavelaan.

By public transport:

The Hotel is 40 meters away from the Station “Zoetermeer”. (Route Utrecht The Hague, The Hague – Utrecht) and 20 meters away from the station “Driemanspolder”.

From the direction of Amsterdam:

  1. Follow the A4 / E19 in the direction of The Hague
  2. After 4.2 km, at the Badhoevedorp junction, follow the A4 / E19 towards The Hague.
  3. After 15 km at junction Burgerveen, follow the A44 in the direction of Leid-West.
  4. After 17 km take the exit Leiden (exit 8).
  5. After 0.5 km, turn left onto Ingenieur G. Tjalmaweg (N206) towards Leiden.
  6. After 250 meters, go straight on Plesmanlaan in the direction of Leiden.
  7. After 1.9 km, turn left onto Morssingel.
  8. Keep right and follow signs for Ibis Leiden Center Parking.
  9. You have arrived at the Morssingel.

From the direction of Rotterdam:

  1. Follow the A13 / E19 in the direction of Delft / The Hague.
  2. After 14 km at junction Ypenburg, follow the direction A13 / E19 towards Amsterdam.
  3. After 3.1 km, at the Prins Clausplein junction, follow the A4 / E19 towards Amsterdam.
  4. After 11 km take exit Zoeterwoude-Dorp (exit 7).
  5. After 0.5 km, follow the Burgermeester Detmersweg (N206) in the direction of Leiden.
  6. After 2.1 km, turn right onto Churchilllaan.
  7. After 1.8 km, turn right onto Haagweg.
  8. After 0.7 km, turn left onto the Rijnzichtbrug.
  9. After 0.6 km, turn right onto Morssingel.
  10. Follow the signs for Ibis Leiden Parking.
  11. You have arrived at the Morssingel.

From the direction of Utrecht:

  1. Follow A12, E25, E30 in the direction of The Hague.
  2. After 22 km take the Bodegraven exit (exit 12a).
  3. After 21 km, turn left onto the A4 ramp, Zoeterwoude-rijndijk  (exit 6a) towards The Hague.
  4. After 1.2 km take exit Zoeterwoude-dorp (exit 7).
  5. After 500 meters, turn right onto Hofvlietweg in the direction of Leiden / Zoetermeer / Zoeterwoude.
  6. After 175 meters, turn left onto the Europaweg (N206) towards Leiden.
  7. After 1.7 km, turn right onto Churchilllaan.
  8. After 1.8 km, turn right onto Haagweg.
  9. After 0.7 km, turn right onto the Rijnzichtbrug.
  10. After 0.6 km, turn right onto Morssingel.
  11. Follow the signs for Ibis Leiden Center parking.
  12. You have arrived at the Morssingel.

Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Leiden Center: check-in from 3 pm and check-out before noon.

Golden Tulip Noordwijk Beach: check in from 3 pm and check out before 11 am.

Golden Tulip Zoetermeer – The Hague: check-in time from 3 pm and check-out before 11 am.

Ibis Leiden Center: check-in from 2 pm and check-out before noon.

Arare you taking the car to one of our hotels? Then that’s not a problem. We like to tell you the parking possibilities.

  • Golden Tulip Noordwijk Beach: We offer the opportunity to park at Supermarket de Vomar at a reduced rate of € 15 per night, this is a 2 minute walk from the hotel. You can also park on the boulevard, but the parking spaces here are limited and the rates depend on the municipality of Noordwijk.
  • Golden Tulip & Tulip Inn Leiden Centre: Parking is possible at the rear of our hotel. The cost of this is € 12.50 per night. For meeting guests, the cost is € 8 per day.
  • Golden Tulip Zoetermeer – The Hague: We have our own parking space at our hotel. The cost of this is € 8 per night. Are you coming to meet with us? Then parking is included!
  • Ibis Leiden Centre: Ibis Leiden Centre has no private parking. We have parking spaces behind our hotel of the Municipality of Leiden. This is on the spillgrounds and paid parking from Monday to Saturday between 09:00-21.00 and on Sundaybetween 13:00 and 21:00. The cost of this is € 2.80 per hour or € 14,- for a 24-hour ticket. Only contact with coins or maestro can be paid here.

You will pay tourist tax if you are staying in a municipality where you are not registered. This applies to a business as well as a tourist visit. The altitude of the tourist tax varies by municipality and therefore also by hotel. See below the different rates:

  • Municipality of Leiden: €2.50
  • Municipality Noordwijk: €2.15
  • Municipality Zoetermeer: €3.25

Yes, this is of course possible in our luggage rooms.

In all our hotels Dutch, English and German are spoken.

Yes, that’s possible! Pets are allowed In all hotels. There is an extra charge for the cleaning which will be added to the hotel room. Pets are only not allowed in the restaurants. Noordwijk has even been named the most dog friendly beach for several years in a row with recommended walking routes. For all hotels, the surcharge is € 25 per pet per night.

No worries! Feel free to contact the hotel where you have stayed to look at our found items and we can make sure that the item comes back to you.

Because we want to offer everyone as pleasant a stay as possible, we think it is important to take the utmost account of possible wishes. For us it is important to know certain requirements such as food allergies in advance. Please give this to our receptions or when making a reservation.
